Lieutenant Christopher DeWire
Lieutenant DeWire graduated from the Ocean County Police Academy in 1998 and worked as a police officer in Clinton Township for 2 1/2 years before transferring to Readington Township in 2001. In 2006 he was promoted to the rank of Corporal, in 2009 he was promoted to Sergeant and in 2017 to the rank of Lieutenant.  His current assignment is Administrative Division Commander.  He holds an A.A.S in Criminal Justice and is a graduate of the New Jersey Chiefs of Police Command and Leadership Academy.
